Anyways, the site was down a lot because of its popularity so I moved the site to another server and the bandwidth was pretty bad and I was in debt to them so I decided to move the site again to another host. They kicked me out because of the bandwidth as well. So I had nowhere to put my site. Luckily, a friend recommended Fancube.com and I talked to the owner and he was very nice and took my site in. But Fancube was very persistent about their ads - having them at the top, 7 popups per page - a disaster. I couldn't even look at this site because not even the popup blockers could help me. So I asked my friend Chad to host the site and he said yes and so we were hosted at n2itstudios for awhile until Chad and I put our money together and bought a server, and alavigne.us was at its own server until I got a great offer from Eric of FanWired.com to host my site including media so I couldn't say no!

So we were hosted on Fanwired.com for a few years until his server started going haywire. The gallery never worked and the site only worked at night. He fixed it but after a day, it was hacked again and Eric disappeared. Since I have withdrawals when I can't work on this site, I bought alavigne.us and began work on the site's brand new transformation.

This site has been through so much through the past four years - different hosts, site problems, all while my love for Avril kept me keeping this site going. I receive no profit from this site whatsoever. I have two servers, both very expensive, and all the ad money goes to paying those two. I make extra money from ebay, but that goes back into buying Avril magazines when she's on covers or back into the server if the ads don't make enough money for that month. Here are some questions I've gotten from people about this site and its history. If you have any questions, e-mail me and I'd be happy to answer them!

Why did I make this site?
I think Avril is an inspiration. She was young when she came onto the scene (17!!!) and she came out as a guitar playing, no-frills kind of gal. I love her attitude. I knew she would make it but I didn't think she would make it this far. I had first heard of her back in June when a friend had me listen to her single "Complicated". I liked it so I found out more about Avril and when her CD came out, I bought it and I really liked it. So by July 2002, I created this site. Who would have thought this site would still be here after four years (now entering its fifth year)?!

Tell me about yourself. How old are you, what kind of music do you like, etc.?
I don't think this question fits here but whatever. My name's Natasha, I'm 19. I have other sites if you're interested in visiting them - just look to your right and every site on there is probably mine - the first 20. I like to make fan sites, what can I say? BUT alavigne.us will always be my baby, my most important site, as it is the longest running and my oldest. No matter what, I will never quit on this site.
